MAF CDF Visits Singapore 2nd People's Defence Force
As part of his introductory visit to Singapore, Chief of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) General (GEN) Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Haji Affendi bin Buang visited 2nd People’s Defence Force (2PDF) at Clementi Camp, where he observed a Peace-Time Contingency Operations (PTCO) demonstration.
He also viewed a static display of Army assets and weapon systems, and embarked on a familiarisation ride on the Peacekeeper Protected Response Vehicle.
GEN Affendi’s visit underscores the long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Malaysia, both armed forces also interact regularly through professional exchanges, courses and multilateral exercises.
