RADM Datuk Mohd Ridzuan Visits RMN Pulau Jarak Offshore Station
Lumut, March 17 - Rear-Admiral (RADM) Datuk Hj Mohd Ridzuan bin Hamzah, Assistant Chief of Staff, Material has conducted a working visit to the RMN Pulau Jarak Offshore Station or better known as the RMN JARAK STATION.
This tour aims to review the operation of the RMN JARAK STATION that was fully taken over from the Malaysian Army on 27 Dec 19. In addition, the tour also aims to gain clearer input on the critical logistics needs of the station.
The visit was accompanied by Senior Director of Materiel, First-Admiral (FADM) Hj Jailani bin Adnan and representatives from the Materiel Division, Naval Headquarters and Logistics Division, Western Fleet Command Headquarters. The delegation was welcomed by Lt Dya Nik Muhammad Faisal bin Mah Hassan of the RMN, which also led the delegation to look into the temporary settlements occupied by the members of RMN JARAK STATION. He also accompanied the delegation to the permanent construction site currently under construction by the Public Works Department.
RADM Datuk Hj Mohd Ridzuan also took the opportunity to reach out to the Navy People working here to understand the need to improve the quality of work and environment on the island. With this visit, it is hoped that improvements to the needs of the Navy People will be made possible to ensure more effective and efficient productivity.
Lumut, 17 Mac - Laksamana Muda Datuk Hj Mohd Ridzuan bin Hamzah, Asisten Ketua Staf Materiel telah melaksanakan lawatan kerja ke Stesen Luar Pantai Pulau Jarak TLDM atau lebih dikenali sebagai STESEN JARAK TLDM.
Lawatan ini bertujuan untuk meninjau pengoperasian STESEN JARAK TLDM yang telah diambil alih sepenuhnya oleh TLDM daripada Tentera Darat Malaysia pada 27 Dis 19 yang lalu. Selain itu, lawatan ini juga bertujuan bagi mendapatkan input yang lebih jelas terhadap keperluan logistik yang kritikal bagi stesen ini.
Lawatan ini turut disertai oleh Pengarah Kanan Materiel, Laksmana Pertama Hj Jailani bin Adnan serta wakil dari Bahagian Materiel, Markas Tentera Laut serta Bahagian Logistik, Markas Pemerintahan Armada Barat. Kehadiran delegasi telah disambut oleh Pegawai Laksana STESEN JARAK TLDM, Lt Dya Nik Muhammad Faisal bin Mah Hassan TLDM yang turut membawa delegasi meninjau penempatan sementara yang didiami oleh anggota STESEN JARAK TLDM. Beliau turut mengiringi delegasi ke tapak pembinaan penempatan kekal yang kini giat dilaksanakan oleh Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia ( Public Works Department ).
Laksda Datuk Hj Mohd Ridzuan turut mengambil peluang untuk lebih mendekati warga Navy People yang bertugas di sini bagi memahami keperluan dalam meningkatkan kualiti kerja dan persekitaran di pulau tersebut. Dengan lawatan ini, diharapkan penambahbaikan terhadap keperluan warga Navy People di sana dapat dilaksanakan sebaiknya demi menjamin produktiviti yang lebih efektif dan efisien.
